Michael recently wrapped filming on director Jon Chu’s upcoming adaptation of Wicked starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo for Universal Pictures.

Michael recently appeared in an industry reading of the forthcoming Broadway musical, The Queen of Versailles directed by Michael Arden and starring Kristen Chenoweth.

Michael recently wrapped production on Disney’s new live action movie musical Disenchanted directed by Adam Shankman and starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey and Maya Rudolph.

The independent movie musical SNAPSHOTS: A Musical Scrapbook that Michael filmed earlier in the year was just nominated for a 2021 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the film will now be available for streaming through Broadway HD beginning in December 2021. On Friday, April 2 and Saturday April 3 Michael will appear with his Wicked co-star Tiffany Haas and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra in a socially distanced performance of their concert Cheek To Cheek: A Broadway Romance. Tickets available here.

In July, Michael will appear in the world premiere of the new musical Lempicka by Matt Gould and Carson Kreitzer, directed by Rachel Chavkin at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Michael will perform at the annual Second Stage Gala on Monday, May 7th at 7:30PM at Cipriani’s.

Michael will perform in a benefit concert for The Dramatist Guild Foundation in a line-up including Ben Platt, Lindsay Mendez, Darren Criss, Renee Fleming, Laura Osnes, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Robert Lopez, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Andrew Lippa and Judith Light.

Michael joins Errolyn Healy in a one-night-only fundraising concert for Everytown USA for Gun Safety at Feinstein’s/54 Below on February 6, 2018 at 7:30PM.
